Received call from a woman asking to verify our address. Seemed odd. Advised female we don't give our address out to people and we don't have a Show Room. Asked why she was trying to verify our address. Claims to be with National Chamber of Commerce. Advised her not interested and Hung up. I called phone number back and it went to a Vm with an english accent. If this was truly a legit Chamber Business it would have a central line and someone to answer as name of the Chamber.
Caller asking to update my companies Chamber of Commerce information. I was suspicious and was giving simple answers of company name and address first and asked twice why he needed this and he said he was updating C of C information. I asked okay, but let me get your name before we go any further and he hung up immediately. I would recommend NOT giving any information and reporting them and their number.
Said there were updating chamber of commerce records rude and pushy. it is all public information so i didnt give them anything they couldnt find out themselves.
