This is a new scam appearing in the Valley. They call to say that you have an unpaid ticket, are a suspect in a hit and run or a warrant for your arrest. I can assure you that the police or courts will not call you directly to collect any money and if there is money owed for a ticket you pay through the courts and not through PayPal or Western Union. Please contact your local police agency to file a report for this scam. Thank you.
