Been called 5 X this week caller ID says Cox Cable 480-878-7233. ...Not Cox Communications. .......This is an Onvoy computer #......reported to Cox in Phx Az...trying to sell internet/phone servives...SCAM.....SOME HOW THEY HAVE COX COMMUNICATIONS CUSTOMER NAME AND #'S........HAND UP OR DON'T ANSWER THIS #!!!!
We received a call at nearly 9pm. This number comes up as Cox - caller states that they are with Cox and they need to send someone to review our lines and upgrade our internet and need to schedule an appointment. Cox is not our internet provider. We called Cox directly and they have no record of an outbound call nor know why we would have received this call, not to mention they don't call at 9pm. This is believed to be a phishing attempt or scam.
