I just had an incoming call from this number, they left no message. 18 minutes later a call from a "blocked" number, again no message. I tried calling the 480-889-2482 number back and it connects and disconnects.

I received multiple calls from this number but was never available to answer my phone. They called at least once a day, excluding weekends. I finally answered it. It is for a security/alarm company called Protection Source or Guardian Security. It is a huge scam - don't give them any information about yourself, your home, or your current alarm system.
They have multiple phone numbers they call from including (480) 776-5093, (480) 290-7195, (480) 889-2482, and (877) 261-1149. They sometimes hide behind a company called Metro Delivery - search either of the first two numbers and you will come across multiple complaints. They call offering you a free security install, but many people believe that they do this just to get into your home so they can see what you have and the layout of your house to come back later to break in. People have reported break-ins after recent visits or refusing the service but there has not been any evidence beyond speculation to connect the two events.
