I called the Chase number on the back of my card which is not this number. The caller id for this number was MORGAN W. The Chase rep I spoke to said they had no MORGAN W on their list as a Chase number. This is a phony. Block this number.
Made me very upset. Representative Ashley to inform me that my debt was to high and they were thinking that they were going to lower my limit. I told her that Chase is the one that lowered my credit line to begin with ruined my credit. She put me on hold and then came back and told me no changes were being done for now. But she knew my last payment, current balance and next payment information.
Told me she was following on an application I did with Amazon. Jan 9th, 2017... thing is, I didn't apply for anything on Amazon.
Then, first thing she asked me to do was verify my Mother's maiden name. I said no, I'm not verifying anything because then I'd just be giving you my information and if this is fraud, I'd be enabling you to move forward. Sounds super sketchy to me. Don't tell them anything.
