Called my cell phone - I don't give out the number - and said they were customer satisfaction survey for APS. I told her I was on national dnc list; she said they weren't telemarketing. Told her I'd have to check with APS. Called APS - they had no idea what the call was about and they do not have my cell phone number on record. I will report to DNC.
I just got two calls from this number, the first time i didn't answer and their was no message, they called again and when i answered no one spoke and it hung up. i tried to call back and it is a busy signal, i just found this website when i googled the number to see where the area code was from.
Call received at 8:55pm local time, just before the 9pm cutoff. This was Advance Auto Parts calling with a 3-question customer satisfaction survey based on a recent store visit I'd made. "Please pick a number between one and ten to represent your satisfaction, etc, etc, etc."
Nothing illegal here, given that I have an ongoing business relationship with them.
