My father died way back when Ronald Reagan was president, but my mother still has her phone number in the white pages under his name. I was there and answered the phone and a woman with an accent asked if I was ____? (insert father's name here). I replied "HE'S DEAD" and hung up without waiting to hear what she wanted. Obviously, they're picking up these names and numbers directly from the phone book.
Saw this number on my caller ID, I don't recognize the number, and am pretty sure that this is not even a valid number, anyhow, it's not going to get answered so STOP CALLING.

The question is which phone book. For white pages, they'll have to manually type in a number to find out a name. Is your number registered with the the Do Not Call list? Or they must've hacked into an online phone data base that stored the numbers and names of people. If Crap service called you, they are a bunch of spineless criminals with worthless slaves in multiple countries.
