If your employer, more specifically your boss, the kind of person you can approach and talk to? If so, take the bull by the horns and tell me what is happening to you. That would at least ease your mind about anything happening if your boss found out about this. Then if thsi person calls you again,you can threaten him with prosecution for impersonating the police and inform him you have witnesses because other people have heard his calls. I would also tell him "My parents are attorneys so legal counsel will cost me nothing if I need it" and give him something to worry about for a change, i.e. do to him what he's been doing to you.
This person has been calling me at my workplace and I feel very threatened at my work and stressed each time they call- they will not stop calling here. They "jam" you from speaking by recording your call and there is an echo everytime you try to speak but none when they speak- so that you can't defend yourself or speak at all- totally maddening to say a word because of the echo. We are on the federal do not call list and I told them this. I had filled an application for a payday advance loan and had to give my work number. I never got the advance- decided against it- saved instead- I only wanted $250 for my pet's operation. THERE IS NO CONTRACT INFERRABLE AS NO FUNDS TRANSFERRED TO MY ACCOUNT AND NO FUNDS WERE REMOVED BY THEM- I checked and nothing was deposited thank god.
I have spammed all emails offering me money and unsubscribed to any text messages. I changed my personal phone number. But this person calls saying they are from the State Law Firm of Pennsylvania and the guy says his name is Tony Abraham (heavy CHINESE accent) - he is outrageously rude and offensive and uses obscene language, threatening me with legal action and telling me "he doesn't care" when I tell him not to call me here or that I am taking measures to defend myself by reporting this to the phone company and police. I told him this is my workplace and it is against the law to call me here. I have reported this to the phone company and they gave me an ability to block unknown callers- now I need to buy a more modern phone and I can block those calls plus up to 10 specific numbers since I have changed our phone plan. I am worried they will leave a message on our work machine and my boss will hear it. I don't know what to do- this is really threatening my job. I don't owe a dime to anyone in the world- my parents are both attorneys and I am a second year law student. I want to sue these pieces of ****.
They have no respect for our laws- masquerading as State enforcers and trying to defraud innocent people that need a loan because of a family emergency, etc.- preying on people and abusing them. This makes me sick. Won't the feds do anything to track down where this organization is located and indict them in whatever state they are operating out of??? We consumers need help NOW with these despicable liars and bullies! I would love to see them in court, that's for sure! And if they want to speak to my attorney- well, that's my mother, a former D.A.- would LOVE TO SEE IT HAPPEN Mr. Abraham- will slice and dice you, you criminal.
I have been recieving the same call also and he told me that they was going to issue a warrant out for my arrest and that they was getting me for fraud. First I never did a payday loan and when I told them that I reported them they said ok now you will serve time for this matter. Have they contacted you anymore and have you got served any papers and what else can I do to stop them?
I'm getting these calls, too. I tell them that my calls are being forwarded to my local police, DA's office and the local office of the FBI but that doesn't stop them. I even took my phone down to my local police and let them listen to one of the voicemails. I had to wait to talk to an officer and the caller calld me 6 TIMES while I was in the lobb of the police station. An officer came out, listened to the voicemail, and called back at the number that was left. The first time the guy hung up and when the officer called back a 2nd time, no one would answer. Don't know where these people are getting my number (Straght Talk cell phone) but I'm damn sure going to find out. Registered the number for the national do not call list so this shouldn't be happening.
