Called this morning. Trying to sell extended vehicle maintenance warrantees, or something. They asked if my vehicle has less than 157,000 miles on it. (Why 157K?) I said, "No." They said they would not call back. I'm sure they were telling me the truth, about not calling back. See? All you need do is answer honestly, and be polite! Then, they won't call again! (Until the auto-dailer selects your number another time.)
I don't answer unfamiliar numbers with unknown or suspicious caller i.d.'s. My phone blocker let's me immediately block these calls manually on the spot if I want. The caller then hears a fast busy signal, like my number is out of order. As such, my number won't go on their robocall dialer or in their phone bank. Then I come here and verify it's a bad number. No surprise that it's a scammer. I love my phone blocker and recommend one to everyone. They are inexpensive for what you get from them (peace of mind! silence!!!) and they work GREAT! By not answering theses calls, my phone doesn't go into their phone bank as a live number on their robo-callers, or which they then sell to other scammers or use again with a different number for whatever garbage they're trying to sell us next time.
484-207-0773 continues to call trying to sell extended warranty on car I've not owned for years. I've demanded to be removed from their records several times.
