This woman MaryBeth Biprospero was bold enough to call me and place a Mary Kay order over the phone. She said she would send me a check, which I still haven't seen, for the products she ordered (back in late Feb/early March). I sent her the products through propay because she said she had already sent the check, so I was dumb enough to put them on MY CC and sent them to her through propay since she is about 2 hours away from me. It's June, and I still haven't seen the check, and she received the products. I sent her a certified return receipt letter, and still haven't heard from her. I'm out about $100 in products, and I just don't want it to happen to anyone else, so I wanted to share the information.
Especially after I just received a text message from Sandra Wolat in FL wanting to order products (904)438-4989 - I was skeptical, since I don't know this person at all, and live in NJ - and looked up the number on here, and there are a ton of reports on that number. It's a shame that people have to scam others to get ahead in this world - and as independent beauty consultants, we have no recourse - other than to protect each other!
I also received a text from sandra wolat and thought kinda weird about the whole thing but I emailed her and she emailed me back with her order stating she would send a cashiers check and not to place an order before i receive the check, so i checked with my recruter she said when i get check place the order..so i emailed her back with total and no quick response this time..so i said this is really not sitting right with me..so I googled her name and found you all on here!! So said that people dont have a life and a job and know what its like to work hard for your money...but thank God i wasnt going to place any orders until i had money(cashed ck) in hand.So you live and learn. Terrible how people do things. Ok but what do they get by getting your name and address?
I also received the text from Sandra Wolat from 904-438-4989 this morning asking me to email her for her order. I have received fraudulent emails before this, but never via text, so this is something new. I decided to do some investigating before texting or emailing her back. At this point I won't waste my time and am glad that you have both posted here. Thank you!
Also got a text. Did not respond as I was suspicious & wanted to check it out first. So glad we have this forum to communicate with sister consultants. But we will succeed despite these occurrences!! 'Wrinkles to [those with harmful intentions].' LOL
