i HAVE BEEN GETTING CALLS FROM THE NUMBER 4842233756 FOR ABOUT A WEEK> THEY CALL AND THEN I CALL THEN SAY DONT KEEP CALLIN THEM, SO I WAIT TIL THEY CALL ME AND I CALL AGAIN AND THEY SAY WHY YOU KEEP CALLIN ME BACK I TELL I WANT THE INFORMATION SO I CAN PAY THE BILL I NEED THE ACCOUNT INFORMATION AND THEY SAY THEY DONT HAVE IT.. IT SOME FOREIGN MAN THAT KEEP CALLING WITH MY SS# ACCT INFORMATION AND ADDRESS NAME OF MY BANK SO I GOT PROTECTION ON THEY [***]. FILE A POLICE REPORT ALSO I ALSO TOLD THEM I KNOW THEY STOLE MY INFORMATION..... WHY DO THESE PEOLPLE WANT TO PLAY WITH PEOPLE LIVES.....
I keep getting phone calls from 4842233756 claiming i took out a payday loan 3-5 years ago which never happened. The gentleman that keeps calling me is named Mark and is foreign. Hes saying hes going to put a warrant out for my arrest and is claiming to be a lawyer for Cash Advance of America. Hes also got my ssn and account info.
OMG! so my husband got the call today and supposedly the guys name was John Marshall! lol...really? Anyway, I tried to 3-way the call after reading these posts and the jerks wouldn't answer the phone. So I called it myself and some foreign guy called claiming to be from the Law Firm of Daniel Cruz. I then asked where the office is located and he said he didn't have the address on him but he is calling from Allentown, PA. I tried to ask him another question but he cut me off asking for my name. I told him that I want the information and address to the Law Firm because I would be reporting them to the local police. LMAO! He got all irate and said "Go ahead and report it but don't call here again!" Idiots! Its a good think i get free long distance phone calls! I suggest you all do the same as long as you don't have to pay for the phone call! :)
Too funny, so I called again and they answer saying the law firm of daniel cruz. i say i would like the address to the law firm and they said i don't have the address. i asked him why he doesn't have the address when he called me and told me that's where he was calling from. he got all scared and said, maam i never told you i was calling from the law firm of daniel cruz. lmao! comedy. so i asked him for the address again, he asks me to hold then......you hear him yelling out in whatever language he was yelling and the only thing i could make out was "daniel cruz". seriously, now i'm cracking up on the phone. he comes back on and asks me why i'm laughing so i tell him that he's funny. he asked me not to call again. I told him that i would keep calling until i get the address so i can report it to the local police and if not than i would give them this phone number! he again asked me not to call back. I told him that i would call every minute of every day until you stop harassing people! lmbo!
Best way to deal with them ive found over the past 3 weeks of these calls, is to just call them back. Tell them you know they are a scam, they arent who they say they are, and that your going to report them to the FBI, the FTC, and their phone carrier. (which is "magic Jack" most of the time) They will get mad, hangup. But keep calling them back, over, and over, and over, and over again. Dont argue with them, dont even listen to them, just tell them calmly what you want to say, and when they get mad, hangup on them. Then calll them back again..... They will eventually quit answering, so hangup and call again! If you get a dial tone then busy signal, hangup. Then call them again!!! Trust me, this worked for me! Havent got any calls for a long time now. Just wanted to relay this to you all..
