Hey I just got a call from them today. I actually talked to them. They said they were calling doing polling and health studies for Massachusetts University, always up to helping students and researchers gather information because on a few occasions when I was in school I had to do the same thing.
They asked really vague questions about people's health and did not ask me any questions about polling. I am generally happy to help with research and polling, but guess what? The questions they asked were about my me or anyone in my household with health, mental, vision, or physical disabilities, but really vague. Like has you or anyone in your household have trouble walking up the stairs? What? Um...? Situational people. I asked are you asking about long term disability or inability to perform temporarily, historically. For example, say I pulled my hamstrings because I over stretched, in that event, yeah at current I have trouble going up the stairs. How will I be able to give you a straight answer if you cannot ask me a straight question. I also, said I have no disabilities myself, but asking me about other people in my households disabilities or impairments cannot give you accurate representation because I am not them.
Anyways, I called the number back after a few minutes past, to see what it was all about. The person greeting the call did legitimately say they are from a national polling. I went on to ask them questions like if it were a poll about voting and accessibility of the population to the voting polls, why was I not asked anything about polling/voting. She answered my questions and was not rude. I told her that the questions were very vague and might not get them good results.
Anyhow, I generally answer my calls, but because of them, I won't answer again. Don't answer if you don't need to. I also looked up the number it says it belongs to US LEC Corp. looked that up, and it had nothing to do with research polling. So nothing is adding up.
Well, there's lots they can improve upon in their questionnaire to get better results.

has called my UNLISTED cell phone twice in two days, so i answered it. it was a survey from University of Massachusetts. I asked why they were calling my cellphone since it was unlisted and he stated it was randomly picked phone numbers. told them i didn't want to be called again. said he would take off list. we shall see. ALL my numbers are on DNot Call list.
