I did not pickup the phone. Message said he is from Dell Canada, and he is trying to identify an over payment of $44.46. Asked to call back 484 242 3493 with a reference number or email at [email protected] with mailing address and case reference number.

Same here.  Called Dell directly to confirm they do not use that phone number nor do they have @acctrec.com email addresses.  They advised to contact the police.  What disturbs me is that this guy, "henry", had real account information like date of credit and amount right on from a previous order.

Had similiar experience. Here is the owner of acctrec.com. Someone call and ask him whats gaoing on?

Got the same at my company phone number.
The guy asked me to call back at (484) 242-3493
He says it's about unused credit of 91,16$ at DELL CANADA !??!
I call me DELL representative, he confirms that no credit in my account.
I called DELL customer service, they also confirm no credit in my account.
This is not a guy from DELL.
... he also gives [email protected] as his email address.
... Do I need to tell you to not give your credit card number to this guy !!!

Did not receive a call but did receive an e-mail.  I had 3 fictitious charges to my credit card when making a booking through Hotels.com.  My bank and police have corrected the problem.....but now "Michael" is asking why there is a problem....  More details sent to the bank and police
