This number calls my phone about five times with in the last two weeks. I never answer it and they never leave a message. I am guessing it maybe from a form of some sort that I filled out online and some how they got my number. It is probably not important because if it was a message would be left.
I have been getting the same calls too. The first time they called asked to take my name off the list. Needless to say I got it again and requested again for my number to be removed. Recently it calls and just hangs up.
I called back numerous times and finally got through. I spoke to a manager and she said that she apologies and that it takes two "cycles" for the number to be removed from the dialing computer. She also said that since I did not sign offer for the offer, someone else is typing in my number to see the offer.
This seems like a good explanation because I got a call from the military this summer saying that I expressed interest via a webpage which was impossible because I did not have access to the internet all summer and I am medically disqualified for the military.
So my only advice is to keep calling to get removed or sign up for the do not call lists.
I just got my new phone and new number not even a month ago, so I wasn't sure if it was just some number I couldn't remember for a friend, but after finding all you guys here, I'm gonna say it was no friend. haha
