They just called my cell phone, no msg. Advice: don't answer these calls or push 2 to make them leave you alone. That just lets them know someone answers at your number and they will sell your number to every other scammer.

NEVER press any buttons.  Just hang up.  If you press a button, your number is added to their "good" list and you get even more calls.  (One time, I pressed the button to 'speak to a representative'.  The phone hung up on me.  About 4 hours later, someone from an unknown number called me to discuss whatever Spam service they were trying to pitch.)

Called twice within one minute. Read it was a scam so I blocked them so they can't call again.

The best solution i found is this.  It is a totally free app and no registration needed. I installed this a couple of months ago.

Install Call Blocker by AndroidRock on your Android phone. Under the settings tab, click on 'block mode".  Choose "allow whitelist + Contacts."

The people on your contact list are the "only ones" that can call you or text you.

All other numbers (no matter what they use) are auto blocked. Your phone will not ring, they cannot leave a text message.

To discourage them leaving a voice mail, i recorded music as the greeting.
