This call came in at 8:50 pm - I thought any solicitations had to stop at 8 pm?
I picked up and said nothing, either a person or robo not hearing a response, hung up.
This 'company' calls from several locations.
If I were to donate to them it would only be my local police, who maybe underpaid, but I am paying for with my taxes.
Special funds should not be solicited by phone. GRRR!
And it probably is because of 'Them' that I no longer trust any City State only in the ID calls.
Any third party charity solicitation is a Telemarketer!
Hours are 8a - 9p. Local.
I don't trust any government whether local, federal, congressional, or White House.
Dems, Reps, Indep, or anyone running this country. Without prejudice, I hate them all equally.
When anyone accepts employment as a police officer or anything else, they know what it pays and what the duties are. If they are unhappy with any aspect of that job, they should do like every other American has to do and go find another. I don't give handouts or Tips to anyone paid to do a job that they sought and accepted.
Most to all of these calls are 3rd party for-profit charities, giving 10% or less to who(m) they collect for. Well featured on news broadcasts, & 800 notes. As for the Government? Then stop voting for the red or blue garbage can lid & change the can.
