I got one too. I don't even bank with DNB. Needless to say this made me skeptical so I did not call. I checked DNB's website and on the very first page is a warning about a "phishing" scam where they get people to call and give personal info over the phone then steal your identity. Don't be a victim...I don't mean to go all "DORK" on ya...but...in the immortal words of Fox Mulder..."TRUST NO ONE!"
Received a txt msg stating my bank card was deactivated. I was puzzled to say the least. After some (stupid) thought I decided to call the number. Noone answered after only one ring. They had by correct bank and everything. Then my wife got the same txt like 1/2 hr later. I called the cops and am waiting for them to get back to me. The land line number it came from is close to my home town so I'm hoping the police can use this info to track them down.
