I received a call asking for the person in charge of the electric bill (they named the actual electric company).
I said "Electricity is included in my rent, please remove my number from your call list."
She responded with "Thank you sir, and go rust yourself."
Do not trust these callers, they may use your own Energy Providers name to get their foot in the door.
I am going to write them a letter - to the address provided by Now You Know which is:
Choice Energy at 4ChoiceEnergy.net located at 1031 Office Park Road, West Des Moines, IA 50265 and 324 Second St, Cedar Rapids, IA 52401 CALL THEM AT 888-565-4490.
I'm not calling because I don't believe that would work. But a letter will 'legally' put them on notice to cease.
I decided to call the 800 number instead of writing... I got someone who said they would look into the matter.
Sure...and I bet they have a bridge to sell me if I was willing to buy it... But we'll see.
This number calls my house up to but no less than 5 x's a day....saw on this site what it was and today enlisted my new DO NOT CALL LIST DECVICE. I let it ring twice picked up said hello made sure I got a response then proceeded to blow my whistle into the phone....immediate hang up!!! Most of the repeat offenders never call back...lol.
