Male, deep voice, asked for someone I had no knowledge of. Then said I could help him and launched his donation spiel. Didn't sound like he was planning on pausing so I hung up. I do not donate over the phone. I do not purchase from cold calls.
Deep voice asked for man or lady of the house. Said he was collecting for a military/ army troop fund. I asked him not to call back. He said he would call again anyway. I told him not to call back once again. He became nasty and then I hung up.
Just called (Sunday at 6:05p). I never pick up the phone for a number I don't know, and the caller terminated the call without leaving a message. Although caller ID said "Local Call Area", this area code is definitively not local to me. Based on other people's experiences, I will just block the caller, probably at the area code and exchange level.
