The next useful piece of information I receive from one of these sites will be the first. Here's the deal guys; they'll hang up unless you play along. If you DO, you can actually find out who they are and do something about it. I've yet to see a single person figure this out. Only reason I come to these sites is a futile effort to see if someone actually had the brains to suss them out, in cases where I missed the call and am researching the number. Never mind.
My question again...why would anyone pick up a phone call from Pennsylvania - or for that matter ANY unknown area code or phone number???
We have had the 484 area code blocked on our home line for over one year.
Just now, we blocked the ENTIRE 484 area code on our business line. They called - we NEVER answer unknown calls - no message was left.
Please purchase a call blocking device that can block ENTIRE AREA CODES - we use the Di*it**e call blocker on our home and on our business lines. Scammers often change a few digits in their telephone numbers...this will get them around/past a simple call blocker. But if you purchase a blocking device that that can block ENTIRE AREA CODES - YOU win the game!!!
Have friends or family in a blocked area code? Simply "invite" their phone number(s) - problem solved.
Amazon sells call blocking devices.
