Raquel from Telplex called said they would reduce our long distance rates by $15.00 a month, Telplex is the long distance carrier for AT&T....bullsh*t. Folks it's a scam. Dont' fall for this line of bull. Funny, she couldn't pull our account up, cause we don't have one with them.
"Alexis" asked for the person in charge of my *** (phone) account. I told her I could help her. She proceeded to tell me I would no longer be charged for individual "lines" blah,blah,blah. I cut her off, told her she would not be making any changes to my phone account & hung up. Caller ID said Unassigned.
said they were from TelPlex, were going to reduce our telephone bill etc. Said we weren't interested in making any changes, they tried to continue, I hung up.

Woman called asking to speak to person in charge of AT&T account. I asked her if she was calling from AT&T, she said "yes". I asked her what it was regarding, she said, "Removing line charges off the bill". She was NOT calling from AT&T.
Woman called asking to speak to person in charge of AT&T long distance account. She said they were going to remove all of the line charges of $20/mo for all long distance accounts if we updated our information. I responded and said we didn't have any long distance accounts, she hung up
