Supposedly from "FS Companies" this person "Sam Dort? Dart?" called me for two days mentioning an opportunity in a town somewhere near me. I couldn't find his name, the company name, nor the phone number anywhere online - this was the first hint. He finally reached me on my phone and claimed to have my resume in front of him. After a few minutes of talking I asked him flat out if this was some Primerica-type scam and he claimed it wasn't. Then he proceeded to ask me about starting my own business. I then asked him if this was a "pay for a job" in any way. He claimed it wasn't. He was lying. If these idiots call you don't answer and just block them. They're looking to separate you from your money in some scheme to create what I'm sure is a fake or failed franchise you could easily do on your own, if you are savvy enough to run a business in the first place.
This information is highly incorrect. FS is a real company. He is a franchise recruiter. And FS is actually one of the most highely successful brands in the country. First Service Brands is the full name. Not a scam.
Okay this is all wrong incorrect information. I received a call from the same number, Sam is a recruiter for CertaPro Painters(Look it up) its one of the most recognized franchises in the country. He called me after reviewing my resume, and was explaining about a possible opportunity with them and to called to see if it was a fit. I went to there headquarters after months of learning about the opportunity and I can say it is all legitimate. People are too quick to scream "SCAM" every time someone calls, actually find out what they're calling about and you'll realize it was for a franchise opportunity. They're not out to get your money, you posted your resume online to be called about opportunities whether it be corporate or franchise ones as well. It's a call about an opportunity. Nice try.
