Recently I got several calls from this number. They didn't leave a Voice mail. I googled and found that it was Alliance One.

They hang up as soon as you say hello and they call several time a day.

This number belongs to Allianceoneinc.com.  They are a debt collection agency hired predominantly by banks to collect credit card debt.  They harassed me over someone else's debt that had the same last name.  They are unethical, and anyone receiving calls from them like I did should report them to the federal trade commission, you can do this online.  If they call and it is a recording, press 3 on the phone pad, and it will tell you who they are, the name of the person they are trying to collect a debt from and the company that hired them.  If you get a person, ask them who is calling, why are you calling, and who they are representing - by law they are supposed to tell you.
