Number called, when I answered they hung up. Thought that the person hung up on me by the fact I have a tel-e-zaper on my phone. I called the number back and it stated that this number is not accepting calls at this time.
A person with a heavy accent who identified themselves as "Joshua" from something to do with "international travellers" (I could not understand the name) stated I was "selected" to win a cruise. Suspect some kind of scam, but I hung up before hearing any more. Caller ID was "PENNSYLVANIA"
I just got the exact same call from "joshua" ( a FEMALE named JOSHUA??) when i started to question them , they got nervous and hung up on me...does anyone know who these calls are from ..i got mine about the same time as you
This is the second time 484-714-3135 has called me. The first time was yesterday. Both times after a brief delay a man with an accent (Indian or Pakistani??) said he was calling from the technical department about my Windows computer. The first time I said, "Whaaat?, I don't have a service plan on my computer." He replied that I had a virus on it. I hung up.
This latest call, moments ago, the call was not clear, rather muffled with background noice. Sounded like the same male voice saying he was calling from the technical department about my Windows computer. This time I laughed, told him I no not have a Windows computer, and hung up
This guy is trying to pull soe scam, but I hung up before finding out what it is. Like others, I am on the Do Not Call list..
484 is an area code from the Allentown area of Pennsylvania. It's a fluke, but I know people in that area with 484 numbers.
I just got the same call today. I started asking questions and the guy hung up. Very strange. If you try to call the number back, it is just a busy signal. Clearly some scam going on.
