Received call about our Penelec  account and to call them back

"Mrs. Howard" called regarding charges to our Penelec Account. Nothing seems to be amiss viewing our account online...
Couldn't decide if it sounded like a real voice or a recording

This is not real..scam..penelec would never call asking for account # having it ready...they know your account number...scam scam

Got an identical call to Ellen's from "Mrs. Howard."  The recording sounded like a scam.  Moreover, we live in a part of PA which has NO PENELEC SERVICE!

Received 2 of these calls- From Mrs Howard-Penelec ,even left a reference #.
Also called from 570-828-3123 . Same message and name. Total scam.
