I got a text message from this number earlier today (11/18/12). They said hey and my name. I replied awhile later with who is this. They replied with if I had Yahoo and to chat with them there with a name similar to those stated in other posts above. Then I again said who is this and they replied oh phone dying or something to that effect. I called the number up via google voice and it stated it was a textplus number. Anyway, it's obviously spam but still I'd like to know how they got my name and number.
Got the exact same as above and I texted back who is this and they said there phone was dying. I texted back saying well then ill have 2 wait till u chg it so u can tell me ur name and have not heard anything since. Glad I am not the only one this has happened to. Now I will send out a mass message on my fb acct warning my friends.
