I got a call from those guys too. They called my Google Voice number. Evidently there is some sort of pause between when their telemarketing software calls me and it actually connects their telemarketer to the call, because the person on the line when I was called was not aware that it was Google Voice - he had no idea that there was nobody on the other end. So, while waiting on "me" to "actually talk" he was talking to someone else. In Hindi. It's a call center in India.

Since I do not speak Hindi, I don't have any idea who they are or what they want. I am just proving that they are a foreign call center.
I had a missed call today, and since I'm in outside sales, I thought it could be a client. No one would pick up, but I got a machine that said, "good bye"....sounds hokey to me. I am just annoyed with how these people get our cell phone numbers.
Answered the call...had a few extra minutes to eff with them. The Hindi caller told me that my "spouse" or I had completed an on line survey and that was why he was calling. Something about Crystal Cruise lines. I kept him on the line as long as I could. Ultimately he caught on to me and told me to "have a good evening."
He was very sweet but annoying. I have blocked their future calls.
Actually, I have blocked the entire 501 area code. I bought a Digitone call blocker through Amazon. You might want to check it out!
