if you don't pick up or hang up they will just keep calling your number gets recycled over and over but if u tell them to put your number on their do not call list they are supposed to take your number out of the system sometimes a few slip through but for the most part they wont call again i used to work their n it was a repetitive boring job but when i was there i was getting paid 8.75 an hour witch isn't too bad for how easy it was
A marketing research company calling to conduct a survey. I am getting several calls a week from them. Don't have time to go through the survey which I told them about.
Claimed to be a Cingular representative. Indicated call was being recorded for "quality assurance" and asked if contact was made via my cell phone number (it wasn't - - dead give-away this was a SCAM). Then asked if I was interested in "upgrading" my services. Responded NO, and they hung up. This is a SCAM.
Caller represented she was taking a "survey on Americans' moving patterns." The first few questions sought personally identifying information, indicating she was building a profile of me individually, not collecting data for statistical analysis. I told her I did not wish to continue participating and terminated the call.
Got the same one as John-Mark, some kind of marketing study on "moving trends". Told her I didn't want to participate, she hung up immediately. Do not call list is useless, the company appears to be Flake-Wilkerson based in Arkansas. I hate when they hang up on you, I wanted her home phone number for my own marketing study. LOL.
