Got a text "Test and Keep an iPhone 5! The first 1000 users that go to http://cell-claim.com and enter code: 4802 will quallify. Optout at celloptout .com".  Spoke to Verizon and they told me to forward all spam text to 7726(spam reporting) when you forward the message to that number it will ask for the number it came from.   It has cut down on the spam text.  Replying back to the spammer only seemed to make it worse.  I also reported it to www.donotcall.gov

Thanks! This seemed to work. Also, looks like Verizon allows you to block messages from senders using the "My Verizon" portal on verizonwireless.com.
