Received a call from this number. Disconnected when I said hello. Tried to call the number back and it keeps telling me the number did not go through. It irritates me when they can call you but you can't call them back!

1) The call was from a scammer, trying to entice you to send money
2) If you return the call, it will cost you money! (Keep reading)
Some area codes are not toll-free numbers and calls from any other area code are billed at international long distance rates.
Some curious people return the call and will immediately be charged $19.95 for an international call fee and an additional $9-per-minute charge, according to a news release from the BBB.

Do yourself or your business a favor and do not pick up any calls from this area code 501 until you check the number out online. If the call is important, they would leave a msg and legit name. If the call is bogus, they will continue to pester you if you pick up the calls. Check the number prior to answering the call.
In fact, if I were one of these bogus businesses, I'd check my number out first online and get a new number prior to calling.
