They call every day, to my fax machine, it answers but the report that prints out is a "no fax". If it's not on, the phone rings 20-25 times before they quit. I called the number that ID shows is calling, a lady named "Shaneka" answers, told her someone from her number is calling my fax every day between 8 and 9 am etc. asked her if it could be stopped, she said she would tell "them" to take my fax number off the list, that was more than a week ago, they are still calling. Called the Pulaski County Sherrif's Office in Arkansas, they said to call the Better Business Bureau to report in case these people are a bonifide business, but if no luck there file a complaint with my local authorities, they will contact Little Rock Arkansas (area code 501 and 320 prefix)City Police and they will investigate. Does this sound like I'm going overboard? Well, I work late hours, and due to the nature of my circumstances my phone and fax must be left on for emergencies, and I'm not getting much sleep lately, getting woke up every morning. If anyone else is getting bugged like this, no matter where you are, (I'm in Montana)apparently there is something you can do about it, so jump on board, do what I'm doing and let's crack down on this unwanted caller!
This same number is calling me every morning and when I answer their is no one on the line. If they do get to my machine they never leave a message. I am in Apache Junction, Arizona. Anyone know what they want.
I've been getting these calls every morning with an automated message left on my answer machine since almost 2 weeks ago. There is a DoNotCall website that you file a complain report about this: https://www.donotcall.gov/
You can also register your phone number with the agency and it has worked well for me quite a number of years until recently with this exception case. You should report this number to the site.
This number belongs to a debt collection agency from Little Rock, Ak. and they also use other numbers as well. I have returned calls to them 3 times to advise that the person they want has not lived at my home for 4 years and I am ubable to contact them. Previously they said they would remove my tn. from their records, but they continue to call several times a day. Sometimes they leave a message. sometimes not. This a.m. (11-15-07) I returned their call to insist they stop calling me. The rude man who answered advised me that if I wanted to stop their calls, I should contact the person they want and tell them to call their agency. I have spoken with the NYS Attorney General's office and the Verizon Annoyance Call Bureau but because I can't identify the name of the agency, only the tn., they say their help is unavailable. It seems absolutely ridiculous that a telephone company and a state law enforcement department is unable to get the name. It's a freaking copout as far as I'm concerned. So, fellow victims, we can only hope that someone somehow can identify this unscrupulous company and put a hammer lock on their lousy calling practices.
