What is so wrong with somebody inviting you to tour the place? Get over it. Don't know the number, don't answer. Don't want to go? Don't go. But if you choose one that is within driving distance, it is worth it. They are nice and gracious. If you don't want to buy, don't buy. But you'll be tempted. Those places are pretty cool and you will think of them the next time you stay in a Holiday Inn.
"Certain phone companies have a feature that will allow you to block callers. Check your telephone company website for how to block the call and the next time they call, just enter the code and they will bother you no more!!!"
I have AT&T (formerly BellSouth) and they do not allow this feature. They make it "appear" as if they do, but it is so restricted, it is unusable. The only numbers you can block are local numbers. You cannot block 800 numbers, long-distance numbers, unlisted numbers, or cell phone numbers. This pretty much negates the purpose of the service when you are trying to block telemarketers, surveys, and donation calls. I think these big companies pay the phone company off to make it impossible to block their calls. Otherwise, the call-block feature should be a fairly simple program (you type in the number you want to block, and it blocks it) but instead they have placed these unnecessary restrictions on it. It's always about money and big business.
I WANT THESE [***] TO STOP CALLING MY CELL PHONE! I HAVE REPORTED THEM TO MY DO NOT CALL LIST AS I'M REGISTERED ON THE DO NOT CALL ROSTER. LET'S SEE HOW LONG IT TAKES THEM TO GET THE MESSAGE.
