He said his name was John. I asked for a last name after some hesitation he came up with, "Salmon." I then asked for the company, "M&T" and this is in regards to, "a legal and financial matter." Well, I told him it sounded like a solicitation to me, "listen lady! I am not a solicitor!"
"Well, I'm not putting your call though"
"That's fine I will find other ways to get my legal information through."
I'm skeptical, but wished him luck.
Received a call from them today, asked for a specific person, when he was told they are no longer here, he was rude. So I hung up, he continued to call back, and then called me a [***].. I called back to try to get a manager and it went to a voicemail. I will report them the next time. They are obviously extremely professional.....
I have received several calls from this number, this guy is so RUDE.
He asked for my boss: I responded "He isn't available right now, would you like his..." and he hung up on me.
Most calls are similar to that, always ending in him being rude and hanging up on me. Today I am having the number blocked.
No need to waste your business time answering this type of caller. Lift receiver briefly and lay it back down. Problem solved, until next time, of course. Seems if this guy was legit, he would be collecting debt anyway, and not trying to rudely solicit business. He obviously has the "rude debt collector" mentality. Unfortunately that method doesn't work well when you want to obtain new customer LMAO!
