Caller claims to be with Arkansas State Police collecting for Teddy Bears for injured and neglected kids!
I don't believe that being that the call was made at 8:45 PM on a Sunday evening!
I think it's one of those scams that says they are taking funds for a police troop in your area, or an acadamy, or blah blah blah. But truth is they are in no way affiliated with any police organization. In this case .. I'll guess Arkansas State Police Asscociation. But it's probably a boiler room somewhere.
I get calls from 501-492-3367 all the time. There's never anybody there. I usually pick up pretty quick. I'd like to find out who they are. Caller ID say TELCOM but I assume the name and the number are both fakes.
caller ID showed A.R. Statepolice and the number was 501-492-3349 i picked up the phone and nobody said anything just hung up.. so i called it back and then it is consistently busy so far.
