Rebo call saying I just won a trip to the Bahamas. I hung up and tried calling the number back. It said this was not a working number. How was it working when they called me but not working when I called back?
I have contacted DNC & FCC - neither seem concerned about doing anything about all these phone calls.
The FCC says they can't locate the source as they are able to use other people's numbers to show up on your caller ID. Even your own number can show up on someone else's phone when the spammers call them.
Now with all the spying & tracking they do on everyday citizens I find it hard to believe that they can't locate the source of these spam calls & stop them.
The sad part is they must be making a lot of money off this from unsuspecting people as it seems to be a big business.
I have a cell phone & don't answer if a name doesn't come up with the number. If it something important they will leave a message.
Received a call on my cell phone. I don't answer any number I don't recognize.

I purchased Sentry for my landline because I was having to keep my phone unplugged because of the nuisance calls. Wish I could block them from my cell.
