I just receive a call like this from 501-588-4489. I qualified for $75 off something, (for staying at a resort that I didn't stay at), then went into a spiel about trip to Orlando, then a cruise to Bahamas, all meals included. Answer three questions. "Are you over 18?" Yes. "Do you make a combined income of over $40,000 a year?" No. The call dropped.
Same thing just happened to my boyfriend. He stopped her and asked "can I ask you a few questions first?" And she wouldn't stray from her script. She kept saying "yay! Exciting, just going to ask you a few questions" and my boyfriend asked "so I can ask you a few questions first? You can't answer yes or no?" And she hung up on him. Same spiel, because he stayed and some resort (again never stayed at) he qualified for a free trip to Orlando all meals included blah blah blah.
