I just got a call from this number (we have a small business). Young sounding female said, "Hi, can I speak to whoever is in charge of ordering shop supplies?" Since I am the owner I said, "That's me." Click. Dial tone. So I called the number an got this, "I'm sorry. The voice mailbox for this person has not been set up yet. Goodbye." And ANOTHER click. That pisses me off.
And by the way, someone above said this business is SBC Internet Services. That is only the name of the company that provides their phone/internet services. I' love to hear when/if anybody finds out WHO this useless company is. I file BBB complaints on these annoying solicitors, and it has stopped the calls every time. It may or may not work on this one but I will always try. Nothing infuriates me more on a daily basis than endless solicitation calls. I will do WHATEVER I HAVE TO to get them off my back. I don't have time to run for the phone, only to answer to a rude solicitor who won't even tell me what company they're with. If they think that approach obtains customers, they need to rethink it.
I received a call from this younger girl, whom would not even name herself, on 9-19-13. She asked to speak to the owner in a quite enthusiastic tone; however, upon asking her the name of the company that she is with, she simply hung up the phone. EXTREMELY RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. She couldn't even answer the question. This type of behavior, telemarketer or not, is absolutely unacceptable. HORRIBLE customer service skills. I believe a two year old child could have at least come up with a better answer. Appalling this "employee". It's called SBC Internet Services. I answered the question myself with very little research. This "company", if you even want to call it that, needs to evaluate their employee calls made to businesses/people and try to fathom a new approach than just hanging the phone up when that particular employee does not have the information or intelligence to answer a such a simple common inquiry.
Got a call from some man named Niko, asking for the owner. After asking "what this is in reference to?", he doesn't answer but says owner will know who he is. This has been going on for over 3 weeks.
Calls multiple times a day asking for the owner. When I inform him my boss is not in the office at the moment and ask if he would like to leave a message, he says he'll call back in 15-20 minutes. Usually calls back a few hous later and when I ask again if he'll like to leave a message, he says- again- he'll try again later. He has called ninteen times since September 5 and it is always the same man. I've stopped ansering his calls and he once (accidentally it seems) left quite a vulgar message.
