Same as above, got the text, ON MY FEDERAL GOVT WORK PHONE and don't have an HSBC cc. I did not call it back. Anyone legit'ly trying to contact me on the Federal phone would have given more of a message than:
I just received a text message to call this number. I don't know anyone with that area code, so seemed strange. I don't answer/ respond to calls or texts with unfamiliar numbers. So I put the number in Google and it brought me to this site. Definitely sounds like a scam.
I just received the same txt from 917-631-3849. It said "Republic B&T Notice. Please contact (501).760-2306. I will not contact them back. Thanks for the information.
They must be sending out a bulk texting. I just recieved the message: "Republic B&T Notice. Please contact (501).760-2306" from phone # 917-811-3768. The ID lists "Univerified-Sender"
