Just received an automated call from this number telling me there is no problem with my credit card but I need to contact them about lowering my interest rate. I hung up at that point since I don't have a credit card.

This is a scam!!!! They claim to be from "Card Services" to lower your rate and/or rid you of your credit card balance. If you give them limited information they will actually be able to tell you your card balance and last payments to appear legitimately. In reality they are looking to charge your card $3,0000-$5,000 in return for their 'service'. If you don't do as they say they get VERY nasty and pushy and use EXTREME profanity. It's obvious they are not with Card Services, rather a scam to get take your money.
