4/21/2017: rec'd call from this # (I didn't answer). A two-minute voicemail was left telling me about "burial expense life insurance" and the woman on the mssg kept asking questions to confirm if I'm interested in hearing her pitch [pause] "Great!" What's my first name [pause] "Great!" Asked for my last name [pause] "Great!" and asked me to confirm if it's ok for her to pass on my info to her specialist to call me back. "Great!" And even asked for me to give a password ("What's your favorite hobby?") for me to tell the specialist who calls me back to confirm to myself that yes, this is the guy I gave permission to the voicemail lady to have call me back. Of course, this was all on voicemail and I gave no answers. Blocked and reported as Spam. Don't answer!
They left me a fairly lengthy VM that was so full of loud static that I could only make out a word here and there. I assume this is some spam/scam as I don't know anyone from Arkansas. Isn't that where Dorothy was from? Maybe she was trying to call from the Land of Oz.

I picked up and remained silent. Usually, the program behind the robocaller is smart enough to hang up if it doesn't hear anyone on the other end, but not this program! As soon as I picked up, the tape began. "Hi! This is Jan! Did I catch you at a bad time?" [pause] "Great!" the call then proceeded as VF describes in the previous post. It was funny enough that I listened to the entire spiel; the tape has all these pauses for your response, but the program isn't sophisticated enough to detect anything, so the entire script just plays out.
