Another questionable debt collector that lets the phone ring off the hook. I finally got in touch with someone. I don't remember the name of the place, cuz it seems that all of these weird "popcorn phantom debt collection" companies that keep popping up all over the place seem to always have the word recievables in them here of late. Probably another scam cuz when u call back, the phone will ring off the hook, and it seems like the same people picks up when someone does answer the phone.
Sorry . I need to clarify. This collection agency if I remember correctly had the word recievables in their name. I last spoke to rep a month ago. This agency is suspect to me.
if you spoke to them, then they were required by law to send you a letter in the mail.
Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes. The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

Called today no message,A/C is central KY, also been getting repeated no message calls fro 270-594-1506 also a KY area code also 502-242-3436 and 502-234-3436 and an occasional call for the 859 a/c also KY suspect these are all from the same company and using KY because I lived there formany years.
