We had listed a piece of furniture on Craigslist and a person text us with this number saying they were paying through paypal. Turned out to be a scam!
I'm selling a car on Craigslist and this nitwit texted me at 3am to see if it was still available. When I replied the next day that is is, the nitwit texted me with the PayPal scheme too. I laughed because I'm a law enforcement officer and investigate fraud cases like this all the time. Little do they know that I've launched a federal investigation into their identity. SURPRISE!!
Thank.you to those who posted! We just had this same thing happen for a sale on craigslist. Told them to stop and keeps texting just press 70. What does that do?
