Called stating that I still owed a debt that was payed over a year ago. Told them I had proof that was paid ans refused to go to court. Spoke a man named Jamie who is suppose have my case and then his supervisor nicole. Both were rude and when I called back with the company that I paid the debt through on 3way theu refused to answer. Has us on hold for 16minutes.
got a call from them - so called them back - spoke to 3 different people asking them what their physical address is. they would not give it to me. told them that the police were working on this harassing phone call and needed a physical location - they hung up on me - called them back and asked again their physical address - said they could not give out that information - asked them what their mailing address is and they gave me a p o box - post office does confirm that that po does not belong to bridgewater (that is what they are calling themselves) she hung up on me again. called them back and now it goes directly to voice mail. hopefully this is the end of them. they claim to have a bill for me from someone I have never done business with or know anything about - I asked them how much do you want? they said it is too late they are taking me to court - this is totally fraudulent and harassment.
Received call from 502.269.3010 asking me if I knew a certain individual. Told them I do not and I asked them where they got my phone number. They claimed they have a case against this individual and that they provided my number. Hmmm my number is unlisted and used for emergencies ONLY. My family does not have my home phone they use my cell. They are looking for a Smith hmmm very common name. I think they are trying to find someone to harass for some money that is what it sounds like to me I have heard about these scams they tell you a relative owes them and that you have to pay. OK......duh....not.....
