A man calls himself John Kirtley keeps calling and stating he knows me from the internet, which is not true. I had a check done on him and he is on Facebook and finds women that have lots of money or very well paying jobs. He convinces them to let him move in to help pay "half the bills". He does not work and after a while the women throw him out. In the last 3 years he has lived in 6 different states with different women. He is smooth talking and lives in Bardstown, Ky. BEWARE!!!!

He contacted me through OkCupid. When I agreed to speak with him on the phone he called me a few times that weekend. I thought he was too good to be true. So I Googled him and found your post.
With your warning in mind, I directed our next conversation to cover financial things just to test this theory and got a better sense of why he was asking other questions (to gauge whether I was a good mark, I think).
Needless to say, he then dropped me, though he claimed for other reasons, it was pretty clear to me it was because I was not going to be a meal ticket for him.
Our conversations were with him asking all the questions. He did not like to be asked questions and would get irate if I made small comments like, You need to laugh more, or anything along those lines. He felt like I was telling him what to do. We talked for a few weeks till he found out I was not rich enough for him and would not support him. I changed my # to kept from him calling me again. He does not get along with any of his family either. I was also a friend on Face Book with his brother and John kept asking me if Michael would ask me questions about him. John wanted me to let him know if any of his family or friends asked me anything. He is a very very odd person. He lists himself as living in Louisville but he was living in his home town of Bardstown. I did a reverse lookup on his cell phone and it shows the GPS is off of a main street in Bardstown. He lived near a school where at one time was a Math teacher. He also had been the news man on a radio station. During the time we talked he was "writing a book". But never had much done. He has a lot of stock left to him from his dad and online I pulled up where he makes withdraws every month to support himself.
