Got the same text in response to my CL posting. Wanted me to click on a link to a pic site to see if the motorcycle i had for sale was the same as in her picture. DONT DO IT. IT IS SPAM SCAM
i got a text from this number about a craigslist add i posted...this number is from kentucky and i live in oregon. i'm thinking it is a spam. it said it was the craigslist posting i made (non specific) and to go to a website to see a picture of it...and if i wanted it, it was mine. the problem was i would have had to download something just to see the picture. i didn't do it!
this number sent me a text w/ a link that led me to a site called pic-soft. on that site were pics which prompted me to install gimp, wehich i already had. i downloaded, but used my alreqady installed gimp to oper the files first.when they didi not work, i googled pic-soft, and there were sites stating that pic-soft was not a site and that it was a way to distribute a virus. so i deleted the download.
beware of "pic-soft" site w/ supposed "GIMP" download.
