I was expecting a call from a contractor so I picked up when this number called my cell. She asked for Roger, I said "wrong number", and she launched into a breast cancer research spiel, not even pausing when I shouted "NO MA'AM. NO." I finally yelled "DON'T CALL THIS NUMBER AGAIN." (Doesn't matter if she tries, since I blocked the number immediately.)
I despise call tactics like this, and will never support any organization that calls me over the phone. Grrrr.
Lady said it was a call about a breast cancer fund drive. She knew my first name. No idea how she got my number. Not sure if it was a scam or legit. You can never tell these days.
Caller asked for Robert. I told her this was Bob. She immediately hung up. I saw an article on the local news about these people. She wanted me to say "YES" so that they could use my voice as an authority in a scam. DO NOT SAY "YES" ON ANY OF THESE CALLS.
