This is the outbound number for most calls originating from RxCrossroads, a pharmacy company that helps patients get on long term medication plans and qualifies those patients for free prescriptions. If you are getting a call from this number it is likely because they are trying to reach you to inform you about your current status or to verify information received from a doctor's office. This is not telemarketing.
Still, beware: never give out personal information to anyone who cold calls you. Scammers are adept at spoofing caller ID information and have been doing it for years. You THINK you're getting a call from your bank, credit card provider, insurance provider, etc., because that's what the caller ID says.
They ask for personal information, you give it to them and your identify is stolen.
Always find a legitimate number for the organization you are allegedly talking to, and call them back at that number.
It's a cruel world and you have to protect yourself.
