No one on the line. I called the number back and was greeted by a friendly rep. She stated that the call regarding delinquent credit accounts for Bloomingdale's and Macy's. It turned out that I was 1 month late on my Macy's account. I told her the payment amount and date it was sent and she noted my account. Very pleasant experience. The original call was made by an autodialer per the rep.
I missed the call, so I called them back. They say they represent citi card on behalf of Macy's and Bloomingdales. I don't have a credit card from Macy's or Bloomingdales, so I don't understand why they called me. I didn't want to give them my number for fear that they would place me on a call list, so I'm just going to wait and see if they call back.
