email phishing attempt associated with the name Mazuma Credit Union.  Same text also associated with phone number 870-390-4311.   Mazuma is a credit union in the Kansas City MO area.

If you arrive here seeking info the legitimacy of this email - it's a phishing expedition. Don't respond, don't call  - advise Mazuma of this latest attempt on their customers.  Received midday 7-4-2008.

This phone number was found in a phishing email from "Vantage Credit Union", asking to call because my account was locked out for fraud attempts. Sorry, I am not stupid.

Love the "...total free number:" and the last part where they try to tell you that putting a one before the number, somehow makes it toll free.  At least they got the toll free part right there.

I hate to say it, but I received the email and called.  Exact same email as above.  The email address came from "[email protected]" and said that they were from Salt Lake Credit Union.  Well, I live in SLC and had just applied for a new credit card, so I was in a panic that somebody was trying fraud me.  The phone rang a few times, then simply went to a message that said "The number you are trying to reach is currently unavailable."  That's when the thought crossed my mind.  I'm a little worried now...
