Are you guys insane? People call wrong numbers all the time. My kid who uses my phone calls people by mistake all the time. If you received a call from this number it was a mistake
Not totally true. Foreign 3rd world criminals (and domestic ones) are using computers, high speed internet, VOIP, & a few dollars in caller ID software to call innocent Americans. Extortion, threats, fraud, theft. Take your pick.
Well "matt", why don't you tell us how you know that the caller was misdialing? Did you look this number up for a reason? I suspect you did. People don't come here out of the blue & inform others that a call was a mistake.
I'm sure we'll be seeing others come here to complain about calls from this number. Shortly after that we'll know what the calls are concerning. Then we'll figure out who's making the calls and where the calls are originating from. None of us will be surprised when we find that the number is being spoofed or is being used by a low budget scammer with a drop phone or a cheap VOIP set up.
No "matt", we're not insane. We see it all here. We're extremely good at what we do. If you're a scammer, we'll know it soon. If you're letting your kid play with your phone, stop doing so. A child who can't properly dial a phone shouldn't be using one. Especially a child who "calls people by mistake all the time".
